As an Allstate agency owner, Tom loves being a part of the community where he lives and works. He holds his 2-20 Property and Casualty License; 2-15 Life, Health, and Annuities License; and his Series 6 Investment License. Protecting his clients’ futures with the right policies and retirement options is Tom’s professional passion.
Being a local business owner allows Tom to volunteer on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of the Big Bend and The Children’s Home Society. He is also the President of the School Advisory Council for Hawks Rise Elementary School and serves on the Agent Advisory Board for The Florida Region for Allstate. Tom is an avid sports fan who loves football and basketball. He is proud of his amazing team of agents in both offices. Together they have won many local and national awards including, “Best in Company” for Florida Allstate agents, the Demo Award for “Best Insurance Agency” in Tallahassee, a Golden ACE Award, and the JD Power Award for Customer Service for Auto Insurance. Tom and his wife Lauren are the proud parents of four awesome kids (Gavin, Case, Callie, and Pierce) who are active in sports and school.

Lauren Paterson specializes in Business Development for our agency. She is focused on event planning, charitable giving, sponsorships, and handling bookkeeping. Lauren also helps behind the scenes at our agency with business promotion, marketing, and social media.
Lauren being a mother to four wonderful children (Gavin, Case, Callie, and Pierce) keeps her running all over Tallahassee. Supporting the agents in both offices and keeping Tom organized makes her one of the hardest working ladies in the industry. She enjoys watching college football, a former gymnast and competitive/football cheerleader, and loves attending all of her kids sporting events. Lauren has even been awarded the Orlando Mayor’s Humanitarian Award!
